As we decided during the European Creative Camp 017 not to publish the produced works within a publication immediately, which was originally the idea, we thought it would make more sense to widen the book publication to authors outside the camp. At the same time, by taking this decision we were shortened by the obligation of some common final aim, some target. There it was the idea to organize an Open Studio for the ideas the participants were able to work out at this camp.
All the works, concepts and impulses assembled in this Open Studio found their way into the publication “My Future Europe – Europe, My Future” and are therefore available up to this day to be studied in detail.
The event itself was organized spontaneously, but as many people from and around Slovenj Gradec were involved, people were curious and eager to see in fact what was hidden behind the newly installed table on the wall of this building, known in past for other public services, but since some time now headquarters for young creatives from all over Europe, to study and think about their future Europe.
Maybe at this point also thanks to Labelprofi d.o.o, who for the second time got involved in this European Creative Camp. Why is this worth mentioning? Because it is not common practice, that private entrepreneur’s get involved in cultural projects in our city, a fact that should raise some curiosity of the parties concerned!
Nonetheless, as to be expected, amazingly organized by all involved in this Erasmus+ project. Thanks a lot!
